Ohio-based foodservice company seeks General Manager for 250-bed hospital in
their new patient feeding division who will provide overall planning, direction
and control to all food service components to achieve operating and financial goals
and to meet client objectives and guest/patient needs. Under general direction and
in collaboration with the District and Regional Managers, the responsibilities of
this role will include:

Providing guidance and motivation to all management, supervisory and hourly personnel; |

Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, while maintaining effective customer rapport; |

Conducting component audits; |
 |
Identifying and designing improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity; |
 |
Ensuring appropriate inventory levels, equipment maintenance and sanitation standards, as well as instituting and enforcing measures to safeguard and properly utilize the capital and liquid assets; |
 |
Developing realistic and accurate operation forecasts while directing the purchasing, receiving, storing, and preparing of food or related products. |
The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years of related experience in multi-unit
operations, including management and supervisory experience. In addition, s/he
will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation will
be commensurate with experience, and performance appraisals will be conducted on a
semi-annual basis.
